To smooth out orange peel or knock-down drywall texture apply a skim coat and let it dry for at least 24 hours, then rough sand it smooth. Then paint the wall with a cheap semi-gloss paint and let that dry for at least another 24 hours. I’d you try and apply the wallpaper to drywall painted with flat paint, or no paint at all, it will not stick.Once the semi-gloss paint has dried, apply the wallpaper as instructed and use a squeege and / or a wide plastic putty knife and a blow dryer with hot heat and work out the bubbles. Then wipe down the wallpaper with a towel applying moderate pressure to ensure it is properly adhered to the wall.If you follow these instructions, take your time, and don’t cut corners, you will not be disappointed and the end result will a professional quality finish.

Was hesitant to order because there weren’t any reviews but so glad I did. We love how it turned out! Not overly sticky so you can adjust if needed and it looks so beautiful! It’s like a giant sticker. Took me about 2 hours to finish but I’m a perfectionist so probably took each strip off and put back on 3 times. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous wallpaper that was incredibly easy to install. My husband and I tag teamed it and finished the space in about 1.5 hours. The seams don’t match up exactly but you can’t tell. It’s not a big deal at all.

This is definitely a two person job if you have never done wallpaper before as was the case for me. Started out from top to bottom, peeling the backing about 4-6” at a time while we used a smoothing tool to smooth the paper out as we went along. We lost about 12 inches of wallpaper cutting off the ends to align the pattern if you’re placing another strip side by side. Our home is older and walls aren’t straight which caused a little gap between the seam line. Barely noticeable but if you really take a good look you can see it (Photo 2 ). We also had a few bubbles we couldn’t flatten out due to the walls being uneven (photo 3)Overall it seems like good quality, crossing my fingers that it will stay up! For now I give it 5 stars, I will update with regards to it holding up on the wall.

This is one of the prettiest wallpapers I’ve used. (And I have used this product for many years!) I first installed this pattern on one wall of my living room. Loved it so much I ordered more to go in the dining room. I’ve had absolutely no issues with ANY of the self adhesive/removeable wallpapers…even used some as a backsplash in the kitchen!I suspect the ones that had it fall off the wall put it on a textured wall. It specifically says NOT to use on textured walls, folks! If you read the directions and FOLLOW the directions it’s great stuff and can last many years on the wall! When I first put it on a wall I smooth it with my hand to make sure it’s in place, then just rub it on better wtih a dry cloth..especially along the edges. I’ve used it in bathrooms with no problem (as long as you turn on the exhaust fan if your room gets steamy). I found one fabulous Scott’s Bros. design that looks like a textured weave fabric…looks fabulous under glass on my coffee table (didn’t stick it to the wood-left the backing on it since it was going to stay put under the glass (that way can use it elsewhere later if I want!). I will NEVER use conventional wallpaper EVER again!! I bet I’ve bought and used at LEAST a dozen designs over the years!! (and some of it I still have up) If I get bored with my decor this is my first go-to (after moving furniture) and certainly before ever considering painting!! TRY IT>>>YOU’LL LOVE IT! BTW Amazon has best prices!

I love how this turned out. It is gorgeous! Word to the wise, the pattern repeats about every 18 inches so expect a lot of wastage. I used 6 rolls on this little room. Also, peel and stick is challenging trying not to stick it on itself during application, but I loved the easy clean up and not using paste, or even having the watery mess of prepasted. I applied this to walls that are orange peel textured and painted with a semigloss, and so far it has adhered perfectly. The paper is thick enough to conceal the texture for the most part. Great product!!

If I could rate this a million stars, I would. The pattern is absolutely stunning! It was a little tricky making sure the pattern lined up, especially when I had to buy a third roll when I ran out mid-project and the roll started in a different place than the other two so I had to waste alot of paper to line them back up. I would suggest buying an extra roll than you think you will need.I haven’t had any issues with adhesion and I placed it on a brush textured wall. I would highly recommend buying the wallpaper accessories to install as you will need the razor blades and smoother. This paper is heavy and thick, which is exactly what you want in wallpaper. Don’t go cheap because you will waste your time and energy installing cheap wallpaper as it will show any imperfections in the wall. This does not. This wallpaper was honestly perfect in every way!

This is a beautiful, neutral wallpaper and goes great with tans or grays. I used this in my laundry room and it is perfect! It was fairly easy to put up by myself, although it would certainly have gone better if there were two people – one to put it up and one to hold it up especially when lining up the second sheet with the first sheet. It did go up nicely once I found the spot to hang it. A wallpaper tool (a larger one that can smooth out the wallpaper in bigger sections) is certainly a great help. It was simple to cut with an utility knife and not flimsy where if you grabbed it, you would put a hole through it. I do like that it is temporary wallpaper, but I do not plan on taking it down any time in the future. I love it!

I used to be anti wallpaper because of the application and removal process but peel and stick without damage was alluring. Wasn’t sure how it would stick to textured walls but so far so good. It was easy to apply and line up for my first time. Took me about 20 minutes to do a 40 sq ft wall, probably less if I had the right height ladder. The print is beautiful and the wallpaper is thick enough to hide most of the texture. It really transformed the room. Hope it holds up well! Will be buying more.

I fell in love with this wallpaper from the pictures in the reviews here. Its just so pretty and elegant. I think it works best as an accent rather than in a whole room. It look so tasteful. I just restored my basement stairs which were in really bad shape. I stripped the paint, sanded them and then stained and sealed them, and then painted the risers white. I had seen other people putting this wallpaper on their risers and really loved the look so I thought I’d give it a try.The roll is bigger than some other adhesive wallpapers I’ve used, which was a pleasant surprise. It was very easy to hang and cut, and the toughest part was getting in position on the stairs in order to hang it right (at my age that doesn’t get any easier). I had no issues with the wallpaper coming off, and from experience, I would advise anyone who plans to use adhesive wallpaper to either paint the surface first or clean it thoroughly with TSP. If you don’t you’re going to have trouble with adhesion because of dust and oils on your walls. I love this wallpaper so much I plan on using it on an accent wall in my downstairs bathroom. My dog Millie was fascinated by the whole process. Highly recommended.Edit March 2022.I just put it up in my newly renovated bathroom and it looks absolutely amazing. No problems with peeling or falling off. You have to clean or paint your walls first or it won’t adhere properly. It wasn’t easy to put up but that’s nothing to do with the wallpaper, it’s because I was putting it up in a small space with obstacles like light fixtures and cabinets. I think it’s beautiful and I’m very happy.
